Compliments From Past Guests
Lairdchurch Bed and Breakfast is a wonderful gem in the North-woods of Wisconsin. Laird Kelly & Lady Tia have created a unique and charming home in a restored century old Swedish church. Each of the guest rooms is quiet, spotlessly clean and comfortable - filled with thoughtful touches throughout. Tia is a classically-trained chef, preparing delicious breakfasts with the freshest - and often home-grown - ingredients. Kelly and Tia are friendly, hospitable and very attuned to the comfort of their guests. The location is perfect, close to the small town shops of Cumberland, lakes, fishing, hiking and more. I look forward to staying at Lairdchurch again next summer!
Great B&B. We really enjoyed our stay. A wee bit different.
Treasure! What a gorgeous & unique restoration to a late 1800's beauty. The owners were so friendly & accommodating. Such a beautiful location. The breakfast was outstanding- - Tia knows what she is doing. I have no doubt this is the finest of stays in a 150 mile radius!
Tia and Kelly were wonderful hosts. We were lucky enough to spend their 1 year anniversary with them. They were very knowledgeable of thing to do in the area. We will be going back!
I had an absolutely lovely stay at Lairdchurch. Tia and Kelly were friendly hosts and made me feel very welcome. My room was cute & comfortable and the shared bathroom was spotless. Breakfast was wonderful - a delicious farm-fresh quiche, scone, bacon, and yogurt parfait energized me for the day without leaving me feeling overly full. Lairdchurch is located right next to peaceful Grenquist Lake and is only minutes from charming city of Cumberland, WI. Everything was absolutely perfect down to the last detail.
Tia and Kelly were welcoming, friendly, and very helpful. They had suggestions for biking, hiking, restaurants, and coffee shops in the area. Tia's breakfast was delicious. I walked about 75 yards from Lairdchurch to take a lovely morning dip at a pristine little beach on a clear Wisconsin lake. We drove a short distance to bike on the Gandy Dancer bike trail. The bed was comfy, the room cozy, the house just beautiful. I would go back no matter what the season!
Immaculate property....super unique being a church!! Delicious breakfast and you get to hang out with hosts that treat you like family. We didn't get to stay long, but you will want to hang out with Tia and Kelly all night while rocking to their vintage jukebox collection. It's a perfect launching point for all your Wisconsin adventures. We can't wait to go back!!
